Geothermal heat is the Earth's interior. Inside the Earth huge amount of heat is created that is constantly coming from the depths to its surface. Heat flux, which travels from the Earth’s interior to the surface, creates the geothermal energy. When the heat is withdrawn, the energy flow replaces the missing heat. In volcanic and geothermal areas the replacement of heat takes place as fast as the withdrawal of heat. Geothermal energy is therefore classifies as renewable, sustainable, environmentally friendly and an inexhaustible energy resource..
