Warnings about the consequences of global warming, as a result of excessive pollution caused by emissions of greenhouse gases, are dating back decades but the recent years have mad this issue increasingly notable. There is the melting of glaciers, rising sea levels, water shortages, coastal floodings, intensification of weather extremes (floods, droughts, storms, heat waves, ...), while further growth in world population and increasing pressure on the planet with ever less capable of settlement.

The future lies in environmentally friendly renewable energy sources. Thus the last decade, the world is marked by rapid development of different geothermal systems, which are among the kindest ways of exploiting renewable energy sources. As a responsible and conscious company we build on our long tradition of knowledge and experience in management of energy resources and also track global trends. In exploration and exploitation of deposits of crude oil and natural gas in northeastern Slovenia we obtained valuable geological and geophysical information and data concerning wells, indicating the possible exploitation of geothermal energy, leading to create the energy potential of the future. For many years, we have been constructing wells often specialized geothermal wells with the possibility of pumping large quantities of thermal and thermo-mineral water. This opened the door to various new ways of geothermal energy. In this was the thermal or mineral water is not only used for normal purposes in thermal baths but it can also be used as direct, highly efficient and environmentally friendly energy source for heating of urban areas (residential and commercial buildings, schools, kindergartens, hospitals, health centers , industrial buildings, greenhouses, farms, dryers and many other systems). It can also be exploited for the production of electricity.
